Seniors completing the Work Ethic Certificate should stop by the guidance office for a scholarship application if planning to attending Ivy Tech.

The second quarter nine-week honor roll is posted across from the guidance office.  Please check for accuracy.  If you feel there is an error, please see Mrs. Beehler by Monday, January 27.  The honor roll will be sent to The Rochester Sentinel on Tuesday, January 28, for publication.

A list of students who received the ten highest GPAs for the second grading period is posted on the main office window.  Please see Mrs. Beehler with questions.  A photographer from The Rochester Sentinel will be here next Tuesday during homeroom to take group pictures.

The Indiana 4-H Foundation Scholarship application is due this Saturday.  Applications need to be returned to the Extension Office located at 1009 West 3rd Street.  The scholarship information is available on the RHS guidance website.

IUPUI will host a workshop on how to prepare an essay for admissions this Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.  You will also receive a code to waive the $65 IUPUI application fee for attending.  To register, go to

It is Super Bowl time!  Even if you are not into the big football game, you can still benefit from this event!  Just bring in canned or boxed food during your lunch next week, and get your name put in a drawing for a $10 Dinner Box from Pizza Hut, to be delivered during your lunch on the following Monday! Your name goes in the drawing once for each item you bring in and twice for every skillet dinner, cereal, or peanut butter donated.  The food will be donated to the Kids Bridge Backpack program.

Fulton County Endowment Scholarship applications are available at or guidance tab.  The application deadline is 3:00 PM February 3. 

Senior reminder:  The NICF applications are due February 3 by 3:00 PM.  Remember to complete the “request” icon on the application.  It is the last section where you enter emails for those who you are asking to complete letters of recommendation and the request to the counselor for the transcript.  In order to give those individuals time to complete, please do this section soon.

Auditions for the spring musical, “Back to the 80s”, will be held February 11 and 13.  Vocal auditions are February 11, and you will need to prepare a one-minute audition.  You also must provide your own accompaniment.  On February 13 you will read various scenes from the script provided.  You must be present at both auditions to be considered.  

Manchester University is hosting a Pharmacy Camp and the application is now open!  Pharmacy Camp will be held July 7-10, 2020, and offers educational opportunities through hands-on pharmacy skills, a mini lecture series, team-building exercises and visits to various pharmacy settings.  The application deadline is May 1, 2020.  Visit the Pharmacy Camp website to learn more and see the link to the camp application.  Have Questions?
