Please check for an email if you received a scholarship and/or award on Honors Night.  Mrs. Cash sent you the address(es) for you to mail thank you card(s). If you were invited to Honors Night and were unable to attend, please stop by the guidance office to pick up your award.

Next year’s juniors and seniors who are interested in attending a free two-week Summer College Success Academy should see their guidance counselor. By attending, students will learn how to navigate a college environment, get a taste of campus life, learn about faculty, staff and college skills. You will learn what to look for in a college or university and how the application process works.

North Central Indiana Area Health Education Center is offering free camps this summer for young people interested in healthcare careers. Please stop by the guidance office if interested.Become a volunteer at Kindred Hospice. Applications are available in the guidance office.

Horatio Alger Association invites graduating high school seniors who intend to pursue post-secondary education at a community college or technical school in the Fall of 2017 to apply for the Horatio Alger Association Career & Technical Scholarship program.  Application deadline is June 15.  Information is available in the guidance office.

Purdue University’s teacher education summer camp, EXCITE! (Excel, Create, and Inspire the Teaching Experience) is a five-day residential camp that provides rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors with experiences that will motivate and encourage them to discover teaching as a career. EXCITE! will take place July 16-21, 2017. Applications are now being accepted through June 30th. The cost is $75.
