Welcome to Rochester High School!

It is my honor and privilege to welcome you to RHS. Nestled in the heart of rural Indiana, our high school is more than just a building — it is the center of learning, growth, and opportunity for our students and families here in Rochester, IN.

At RHS, we are proud of our strong traditions, dedicated staff, and supportive community. Our smaller setting allows us to truly know our students — their strengths, their goals, and their potential. We believe every student matters, and we are committed to helping each one succeed academically, socially, and personally.

Our students benefit from a wide range of academic offerings, including dual-credit courses through multiple higher education institutions, 16+ career and technical education pathways, agriculture and FFA programs, fine arts, and a variety of extracurricular and athletic opportunities. Whether students plan to attend a four-year university, two-year university, pursue skilled trades, enter the workforce, or serve our country, we work hard to prepare them for success beyond our four walls.

We are proud of our strong graduation rate, our commitment to student safety, and the partnerships we maintain with families, local businesses, and community organizations. Together, we create an environment where students are able to Learn, Grow and Give.

In our rural community, relationships matter — and at RHS we believe you are part of a passionate culture with a goal of preparing students for life outside of our four walls.
